Trump is the Embodiment of a Greedy Generation
This generation is called the Baby Boomers and their greed was insatiable. Along with their narcissisms and the retribution towards others that wronged them. Donald Trump being president at 79 years old is the perfect example of how the boomers will never relinquish their power until they themselves keel over dead. Thankfully this man is on his way out of everyone’s life and I hope it happens soon. Here’s what Trump did to one of his elderly tenants which proves he was a piece of shit even back in his 30s. he loved getting even with people who wronged him:
He also wasn’t loyal to people who were loyal to him! For example, this is Mary Filan who rented an apartment from Trump for over for over 20 years. She had just recovered from a stroke and was practically paralyzed. Mary was paying a regulated rent, likely under New York's rent control/stabilization laws at the time, since Trump received millions in subsidies from the US government to house people. These were tax payer funded subsidies, loan guarantees, and tax breaks, but his company has been widely criticized for using those benefits to build wealth while mistreating vulnerable tenants. Despite all this, she was forcibly removed from her home with her belongings dumped at a city sanitation yard, all reportedly so the Trump Organization could re-rent her apartment at a higher market rate.
This greedy generation has lead to the failing of men in the United States. If there was one person who would be the exact opposite of Trump it would be Scott Galloway. He is a GenX philanthropist who gained much of his wealth through early investment and came from a poor family. If there was one thing to watch in 2025 that was mandatory for all Americans it would be this:
Men are failing to start families and continue a population in America due to the failing policies of the Baby Boomer generation. I can attest to being one of the men who failed to start a family even though I live in the richest nation on the planet. I did have a father who passed away 1 year after I was born and this sent my entire family into a tailspin of destruction. My older brother committed suicide at the young age of 28. He could not find a job, he was on food stamps, which ran out 10 days before he died. He couldn’t afford the medication he needed for his bi-polar disorder since the medication was very expensive at the time and still is. All of this could of been so easily corrected if we just had the right policies and assistance for men in the Untied States.
In my case, I have constantly fought with trying to just stay employed and housed all my life. I have lived in over 20 different addresses and have been employed with over 20 different employers before even hitting the age of 50. Currently I was laid off from a high paying remote job of IT support with a very successful MSP and now I’m going back on unemployment for the 5th time since 2015. Everyday, I read online about the endless job cuts to almost every single corporation in America and yet the unemployment rate stays at a low level. It never seems to add up.
When men are not employed their confidence levels go down and they are unable to approach women for relationships. This is sad because it didn’t have to be this way at all. Especially when men like me try to do the right thing. It seems if you do the right thing in America you are penalized for it. The only good thing that I’ve had is my health despite the thousands of dollars I’ve wasted on medical insurance.
I just hope that our next president and congress can turn the rains over to the next generation of good men and women so that we can recover from this catastrophic generation.
